Live! Loving Interventions for Vulnerable Expectant Mothers
Women with Sickle Cell Disease face a heightened risk of maternal complications and mortality. Research shows that focused, high-quality antenatal care can significantly improve survival and health outcomes for both mothers and their babies.
Dr. Leslie Samuels, Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist at the University Hospital of the West Indies offers an evenings-only free private high-risk Antenatal Clinic. It is anticipated that engagement in this clinic will lead to better maternal outcomes for participating patients.
Jeremiah Global seeks to partner with Dr Samuels by offering supplementary support to women with Sickle Cell Disease who are enrolled in this clinic. We believe that wholistic
